7/5/2011 - Atomic Debuts Reactor 50/50 Stereo Tube Rackmount Power Amp
In the wake of of widespread customer demand, Atomic is pleased to announce the Reactor 50/50 Rackmount Stereo Power amp. The 50/50 contains two Atomic Reactor power sections, each based on those in our wedge/cab/mono block with upgrades and improvements to the power supply and other areas. It features front-panel bias controls, versatile i/o including XLR and 1/4”, dual independent level/presence controls. Thanks to Atomic's custom designed toroidal transformers, it weighs in at a very light 26lbs. The unit ships with JJ 6L6GC tubes and works with a range of replacements including EL34s. The amps are housed in a convenient 2U road rugged steel chassis with a 1/4" brushed aluminum front panel. The Reactor 50/50 is available now in our web store.
11/29/2010 - Atomic Amps and Dweezilla 2011
The 2nd annual Dweezilla Music Boot Camp has been announced, and Atomic Amps is happy to partner with longtime Reactor FR user and supporter Dweezil Zappa for this incredible musical experience. Dweezilla is a 5-day camp/vacation/workshop designed to give players of all levels complete access to the entire Zappa Plays Zappa band and their collective musical knowledge, plus imersion into a community setting where the focus is on music.

4/17/2010 - Dweezil Zappa with Atomic Wedges at Jeff Beck/ZPZ
Zappa Plays Zappa band leader and namesake Dweezil Zappa has added four Atomic Reactor Active Wedges to his dual Axe-Fx powered guitar rig, unveiled at the double header Jeff Beck with Zappa Plays Zappa show in Los Angeles last night. His tech Thomas Nordeggg describes the rig as a "B-A-A-B" dual stereo configuration, adding that it is "Awesome. fantastically flexible, and sounds unbelievable, not only for those listening to the house system but also for people right down in front. To experience this… it's incredible".
