Check Out “Our” Space
12/19/06 – Atomic launches its MySpace page. The site will be a supplement to the company’s main web presence, www.atomicamps.com. It will include sound samples, products tips, patches optimized for popular modelers, contests and a host of other features.
“We are starting off with just the basics and are looking forward to adding content consistently” commented Atomic President, Tom King. “I got the ball rolling with a couple of quick and dirty sound samples but we are looking forward to adding media from customers and other friends of the company soon.”
Atomic Awarded Perfect Score!
11/26/06 - Atomic’s Reactor 112-50 was awarded "5 Stomps" from the popular guitar equipment website: www.thestompbox.net. The site specializes in talking about amp modelers as well as other related gear from various manufacturers.
"Kewlpack", the Webmaster and primary contributor of articles written for the site has put virtually every possible amplification solution for MFXs (his term for amp modelers and guitar specific multi-effects processors) through thorough paces. After spending significant time with the Reactor 112-50, he was so impressed with its sound and feel that he decided to purchase it and is now using it as "the" amplification source for all his MFXs.

Welcome
11/17/06 - Welcome to Atomic Amplifiers’ new website! We are stoked about its look and feel. We will be doing updates and adding functionality on a regular basis so stay tuned.
Many thanks to our new web designer, Ryan Rhea and his wife/partner Claudia of www.gringomedia.com for all of their help in getting us up and running. Atomic first got to know Ryan after he purchased two Reactor 112-18s to run together in stereo. When we realized what a design ace he was, and a great player to boot, it made perfect sense to work with him on our web presence.
Atomic Ships 112-50 and 212
11/17/06 - Atomic Amplifiers is excited to announce two additions to its Reactor Series line of guitar amplifiers - The Reactor 112-50 and Reactor 212-50. These products build on the success of the Company’s debut, the Reactor 112-18, by offering almost 3x more power for guitarists who demand extreme volume and headroom while maintaining or exceeding the sonic reputation earned by their predecessor.
The Harry Kolbe designed, all-tube, Reactor 212-50 and 112-50 both boast a 50W, 6L6 based, class A/B power amp. Their birch plywood cabinets are tuned/ported and loaded with 12” Eminence speakers specially designed to Atomic’s specifications. The amps sport some features not found in the original 18W 1x12 version such as a master volume control, extension cabinet output, stereo/mono switch (to control the effects loop output – note: the amps are mono), a standby mode and the cabinets have a flat top for easy stacking. In addition, 2 pro-quality steel cabinet handles and touring grade rugged vinyl covering compliment the amps.
The Reactor 212 and 112-50 are shipping now and are available directly from Atomic, here, for $699 and $599 respectively.
Direct from Atomic
11/17/06 - Effective immediately, Atomic will exclusively offer its products directly to its customers!
Since the launch of Atomic’s award-winning, debut product the Reactor 112-18, we have been amazed at the percentage of orders from online sources. Upon trying to figure out why this was the case with close to seventy retail dealer locations representing us across the country, we realized a few things:
1) Digital amp modeler users are particularly internet savvy and do much of their gear purchasing online
2) Ordering from the web is very convenient and can be done anywhere, anytime
3) And perhaps most importantly - the opportunity to audition an amp either at home, during rehearsal or on a gig. With a satisfaction guarantee, this is one of the very best ways to know if an amp will really work for you.
Atomic has developed an outstanding reputation for customer service and the company is committed to provide our customers with the best buying experience possible. Connecting directly with our customers will allow us to do this right from the start.
All Atomic Amps purchased directly from the company come with a 15 day satisfaction guarantee – so buy it, try it and if it doesn’t work for you for any reason, we’ll take it back and credit you for your purchase*. With all the tweaking possibilities that modelers offer, you deserve the time to explore the full tonal palate.
Thank you for you considering us!
Best,
Tom King
